All new care staff attend our comprehensive 5 day training, this provides the foundations of excellent care and ensures you have the competence to deliver safe and dignified care. You will be supported and guided through training so that you are ready to work as a carer in the community. Each year thereafter you’ll attend fully paid refresher training courses to keep your care practices up to date. We offer all eligible staff the opportunity to study Health and Social Care QCF courses which are fully funded, so you gain nationally recognised qualifications whilst working with us!
Our Care Supervisors work in the field and are on hand to introduce you to customers and assist you. They are always available to offer help and advice. Our coordinators will create your rosters issues and they conduct review meetings to ensure you get constructive feedback from your work. We can even provide you with additional 1-1 training if clients have specific requirements and we can discuss how you can further your skills and qualifications. We care about our staff as much as we care about our clients!
