Work for Healthvision

All new care staff attend our comprehensive 5 day training, this provides the foundations of excellent care and ensures you have the competence to deliver safe and dignified care. You will be supported and guided through training so that you are ready to work as a carer in the community. Each year thereafter you’ll attend fully paid refresher training courses to keep your care practices up to date. We offer all eligible staff the opportunity to study Health and Social Care QCF courses which are fully funded, so you gain nationally recognised qualifications whilst working with us!

Support

Our Care Supervisors work in the field and are on hand to introduce you to customers and assist you. They are always available to offer help and advice. Our coordinators will create your rosters issues and they conduct review meetings to ensure you get constructive feedback from your work. We can even provide you with additional 1-1 training if clients have specific requirements and we can discuss how you can further your skills and qualifications. We care about our staff as much as we care about our clients!

“I really enjoy working at Healthvision, I love my clients and it is so rewarding visiting them each day. Also, the office staff are always helpful when I need them. I attend lots of training and have just started my Diploma in Health & Social Care, which Healthvision are paying me to attend”

Tracey, HealthVision Carer

Case Study

I joined Healthvision as a carer in 2012 and was really impressed by the training from Penny [Trainer], it was so informative. The training has always been great at Healthvision. After about 3 months of working as a carer I was offered to study for a Diploma in Health & Social Care, which I jumped at, it was difficult but well worth doing and in June 2013 I was presented with my Diploma, I was so proud of myself.
In 2014 I was notified of a position of Field Supervisor and and decided to apply, I was successful and was so pleased. I was sorry to not be seeing my regular clients so much but pleased to have moved on in my career. I have been a Supervisor ever since and absolutely love it.

Healthvision have been so supportive and I absolutely love working here”.

– Karen, Care Supervisor
